I think we should start giving less importance to publishing in top 5 and more to publishing in reputable and rigorous journals that care about policy, Europe, and replicable knowledge creation (not just coolness and novelty).

Like economic policy for instance /end

Totally agree with the diagnosis, not sure about the suggestion of the two track system. it might create weird selection and sorting.

we should change the reward and publication system.

📈 Once niche, health economics is now central to the field.

A new study shows its share in top journals tripled since the 1990s—driven not by conformity, but by innovative, high-quality research.

Health is shaping the future of economics.

I'm looking for a short text or article that summarizes what the field of behavioral economics is about, and maybe some of its key findings. Written in a style that a smart undergraduate student can understand. What would you recommend?

Really impressed with this tool! Surprising to see where our paper still lacks clarity or consistency.

I've been working on a new tool, Refine, to make scholars more productive. If you're interested in being among the very first to try the beta, please read on.

Refine leverages the best current AI models to draw your attention to potential errors and clarity issues in research paper drafts.

Can we please get a standard for filenames when downloading academic papers? Journals naming them with titles, authors, or just nonsense numbers is driving me mad.
