Under its current chair, Ofcom has repeatedly refused to apply its rules to GB News, enabling the channel to pump out increasingly toxic & dangerous messages.

Ofcom is accountable to Parliament. It's time for MPs to investigate what’s gone wrong, and how things have been allowed to get this bad.

The latest data from the UK Butterfly Monitoring Scheme has shown that 2024 was the worst year on record for the Small Tortoiseshell, with a steep 86% decline in abundance since 1976. 📉

Time to dive into the 2024 @ukbms.bsky.social results. Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) had its worst year since monitoring began. This was also the case in each of the 4 UK countries separately. It’s had 10 below average years in a row now and has declined by a staggering 86% since 1976.
