I've got to stop watching sports. I consistently get emotionally invested in the underdogs, even though it's almost always the team with the largest payroll or lowest state tax that wins the championship.

Last night I worked the door dressed as the _Friday the 13th_ Part 5 "Jason". The children and teens wearing hockey masks would remark on our having the same Jason costume, and then I'd pedantically correct them that I was actually Roy Burns. One by one, their eyes glazed over.

Saddened to hear of Ace Frehley's passing. I found Ace to be the most palatable member of KISS. His vocal performances on the _Dynasty_ LP were criminally underrated.
