my luke warm take is that if people knew what it meant for a compiler to be correct the broader idea of “abstraction” would be much clearer since its usually the first example they encounter

note for nerds: this conflates abstraction/refinement with “less detail” which are not necessarily the same

my reviews of the Precision Fuel 60g Chew Bar:

all the fragrant charm of a urinal cake in a gummy that will take you at least 5 actual minutes to chew through resulting in a glucose spike second only Everest in its height and rate of ascent

(they work real good on rides though)

I don't know that it means overmuch since people who seem disenchanted with AI aren't, afaict, arguing that we can't be rivaled in intellectual power but I found this interesting.

(Also you should reading Turing's Cathedral it's a very good book that is only partly about Alan Turing).
