Got reminded today how vague and undefined the idea of what's a video game "remaster, remake, reboot/adaptation" is and how it's been made confusing on all fronts, by the industry, pundits and audience, using the terms interchangably.

I don't really bang on about how much Timesplitters is my fav FPS shooter, so I've actually been following TimeSplitters Rewind for most of it's life and wow we actually have a public playable build and it feels pretty good feels good after all this time.

You know what something I've never really talked about online is since my early teens I've been a massive fan of Terry Pratchett and his Discworld series, have 30 of the books (some via omnibus editions) as well as some non-Discworld books he wrote.

Recently did a quick career playthrough of Beatles Rock Band as I lost all of xbox 360 saves.
It's still kind of hard to believe that game got made, when you consider how protected The Beatles discog is (especially in 09) and it's such a detailed tribute, no other band focused game comes even close

Getting deep into this playthrough of Silent Hill Homecoming for the @bghof.com , first is a reminder of how boring having to actually play it is when combat boils down to the one knife combo that stunlocks enemies, and linear path levels and extended running with nothing happening areas
