Let’s stop being horrid to each other and the planet.
In case you need a documented proof that life is not fair. A young man who battled cancer, almost his entire life, has finally succumbed.

I have some bad news for engineers: IT professionals would have needed to cheat off of your homework to get your degree if they even pursued one in the first place. Also, your employer has tasked them with deciding what tools you get to do your job.

Being a good boss should be easy: do the opposite of what your previous boss did poorly, do the same things your previous boss did well and do everything you can to give your employees the freedom to do their jobs excellently in as little time as possible so they can do other stuff or go home.

With respect to AI and tech workers: things are either going to become really bad, or really good. Given our free market corporate-overlord roots here in the US, you might want to bet on the prior.

Churches didn’t look like this when our nation was founded.
So apparently the mega churches in Texas put on some insane Christmas shows and that’s cool but can we at least get them to pay some taxes for crying out loud….who needs these monstrosities

So interesting. Not sure if there is a political point here but I didn’t know this.
Fun polio fact: it is asymptomatic in 70% of cases.

In 29.5% of the cases symptoms do appear, they are gastrointestinal distress, normal enterovirus stuff.

Polio only displays neurological symptoms in 0.5% of cases.

You don't remember polio, you only remember *longpolio*

Could be rage bait but there are actual names and towns in the story. We’re screwed until we lessen the profit incentive.

These dudes just cannot STFU about Jan 6 conspiracies.
This guy is intentionally skewing words. A “source” is far different than an FBI agent, which was the accusation.

The FBI had sources in Al Qaeda, Russia, the KKK, everywhere. A source is just that, a person who tells the FBI things.
