Give me a fucking break. I’m a 52 year old gay man. I was a teenager in the late 1980s when the entire world described us as immoral, disgusting, disease carriers. People were arrested for “gross indecency” for kissing in public. Homophobic attacks were routine and somehow I’m not a fucking Nazi.

In tech people moved away from using rhetoric like “master/slave” in database replication and version control systems switched from “master” branches to “main” branches and this feeble little snowflake thinks that’s a form of oppression.

The “getting deported for your beliefs” discussion is missing that even if someone was antisemitic, that’s neither illegal nor a crime.
It follows that if you defend someone from blatantly illegal government overreach by saying “but he’s not antisemitic” you’re only moving the Overton window.
