Campaigning for migrant workers' & seafarers' fundamental and human rights

Freedom of Movement increasingly looks like a vehicle for the continued exploitation of Slav labour by richer EEA nations

I fear Europe blew its chance
Your reminder that all major political parties in the UK (including the LibDems) when in power, sought to deny UK nationals their fundamental right of free movement

#Rejoiners must ensure the UK government upholds UK nationals' rights before rejoining the EU

Can you give an example of an event, or situation you witnessed, of which you have personal knowledge, which was covered in a misleading way, or not at all, by local / national / international media?

A fascinating conflict developing in the October 26th elections in Georgia between the rights of "the Georgian LGBT community" (vigorously promoted by the EU) vs the Georgian Orthodox Church's teachings against the promotion of an LGBT "lifestyle"

#Georgia #EU Is #Politico a reliable source of truth?
This article, by Politico's stubbornly-pro-EU "journalist" Dato Parulava states Mikheil Saakashvili's imprisonment in Georgia is illegal
The European Court of Human Rights ruled Saakashvili's detention was legal www.politico.eu/article/geor...

The chauvinism of individual, relatively-weak European-nations ensured the failure of the EU and EEA upon which they depended for trade

The EU Commission lacked the vision to see the consequences of "room for manoeuvre" and nations stealing neighbours' businesses
Draghi competition report: gloomy tech outlook – only niches remain for the EU
Advisor Draghi sees the danger for the EU of "becoming completely dependent on AI models developed abroad". He is also calling for reforms in the telco sector.

Something that doesn't make sense to me regarding Brexit/rejoining is the EU Commission insisting on free movement being accepted by the UK whilst, simultaneously, the EU Commission "looking the other way" for decades as EEA nations (including The UK) refused to uphold fundamental rights

Why would Georgians vote to join the EU, rendering Georgia obliged to impose EU sanctions on its biggest trading partners, Russia and China?

Pretty sure Corbyn wouldn’t have had to resign in disgrace half way through his term cos of a succession of scandals involving corruption, dishonesty, criminality, arrogance, venality, sexual shenanigans and the blatant disregard for human life during the biggest health crisis in a century.
It says something about political framing that "Labour leader says it would have been better if Labour had won the last election" is apparently "extraordinary"
