He/Him
Last wedding I went to involved the bride and groom too drunk to drive to their honeymoon the next day. Also, the bride threw up all over her dress.

Proper wedding.

Your government and therefore your country has also declared war on us.

Or possibly Iceland.

Minnesota seems to be doing a good job.

Can only wonder how it will go when ICE try and hit Philly and one of them wears a Cowboys shirt or something stupid like that.

One of my fave meals.

Oh yeah, the schnitzel Holstein at the Delauney is absolutely amazing.

You'd love to see the craft beer reviews of Tenant's, then.

Oh god yes! Almost makes up for those weird liquorice sweets Norway makes.

Anyone who goes up against Musk is going to end up as a good guy. Even the guy who wants people to pay to use the toilet on a plane.

As a logistician who heavily studied Home Guard Shock/Auxiliaries, I can think of a few targets.
January 20, 2026 at 4:54 PM
Depends if they want to breed terror. Look at how Britain set targets for auxiliaries in WW2.

You would end up with logistics hubs refusing to handle goods involved, companies refusing to sell to US as scared their factories would be hit and so on.

Bigger issue could be something like Visa or Mastercard going down.

It's deliberately over the top and ironic and Grant plays it perfectly.

The romance scenes between him and Eve Marie Saint are just so good, though. And Martin Landau is a great villain.

I think it's called Trump RX, and companies are selling specifically through it in exchange for being exempted from tariffs.

Regarding Mounjaro, it went up from about £150-£175 a month to £300-£450 a month because of Trump's tantrums, which really fucked a load of people off.

North By Northwest is such an amazing film (not that Third Man or the others are exactly bad).
January 20, 2026 at 3:55 PM
Also see we're being compared unfavourably to Germany by someone who has very obviously used Deutsche Bahn.
January 20, 2026 at 3:53 PM
No! He had a meltdown that Mounjaro was too cheap and forced Lily to double the price in the UK.

NN did a deal with him to exclusively sell there through Trump Pharma.
January 20, 2026 at 3:50 PM
I thought the tariffs might cause EUR and GBP to devalue to match, but they're so busy fucking up the dollar that they're going to see hard stagflation, especially if Trump forces interest rates lower.

Fixed my mortgage for five years last week. I couldn't have times it better (especially after last time was the week after Liz Fucking Truss did that budget.)

Better at fitting individual criteria of sites too - some require symbols, others won't allow.

Also, my password manager will automatically change passwords on some sites.

Can we make her trade envoy to South Georgia or maybe Kerguelen Islands? Maybe for ten years or so?
January 20, 2026 at 9:48 AM
Was she still in Labour? Thought she had left for Tories or Reform years ago.
