I get it’s not personal it’s (bad) drag. That said, I cannot think of a situation where one party accuses the other of basically the worst thing possible and then… this. Presumably owning the libs is the higher cause 🤷

Amazon's English dub for a series had entirely AI-generated performances, as in not actual actors, and the entirety of the anime viewing community came down on them like a ton of bricks for it.

'backbone of society' lol, I didn't say that at all, I pointed out that one could look at almost any aspect of the anime industry and find that saving money using AI today is going to have negative repercussions tomorrow, even in ways that might not come to mind at first.

Understand that corpos really will lower the bar as low as we, consumers, let them. No standards. This was them testing the waters, no doubt.

It's eerie seeing things we all kinda knew were coming actually come to pass, but I hope this continued discussion encourages people, rather than discourages them.
