Just got an EV charger installed and it is death by 1000 apps! So far on my EV journey I've had to install an app for the car, app for the home charger, app for Octopus, app for public chargers...

Sainsbury's seem to be playing crap cover versions of Christmas songs. Guess someone decided there was some money to be saved by not broadcasting 'known' songs?

If you want a top notch modern classic of a Christmas song, you can do no better than 'DJ Play a Christmas Song' by the 'impossibly preserved and probably going to live longer than Bryan Johnson' singer Cher

Imagine how liberating it would be to just bin my box of random screws, accumulated over years of (semi) successful DIY projects. Well you can keep on imagining as you never know when one of those might come in handy.

If you're wondering whether being a dad puts you more in touch with your emotions, I just cried watching Robbie Williams as a monkey 🐵

Has anyone else got a full hamster cage, toys, water bottle, spinny wheel in the loft as it was easier to just buy it from the charity shop than have the argument that we're not getting a hamster? No, just me then.

Just heard on BBC Radio 6 Music news that "3 more conservative MPs have joined Reform" only they're not MPs are they? #Facts

Is there ever a shoe rack that's 'big enough' or will there always be shoes strewn across the garage floor?

Being a grownup can be such a rollercoaster of emotions.
Happy: Got a new fridge freezer, saved £50 woohoo.
Sad: Closing the door after the delivery driver has left to see that they somehow mangled the front door frame, which is probably gonna cost more than £50 to fix
🤦‍♂️

There's a bit of footpath in Garforth that's slowly slipping away. The council place some red&white barriers to stop people falling down it.. then the barriers start slipping... then a few months later the barriers get pulled out again. Been like this for years.

@ledbydonkeys.org need to project "are we the baddies" gif on repeat onto the Houses of Parliament. Labour are fast tracking themselves into oblivion when they could be, y'know, trying to give us a bit of hope and positivity.

More of this, please
We should stop the boats because it's dangerous, and we should stop the scapegoating of immigrants because it's wrong and cruel.

Controlled migration is good for the country, helps build our economy and diversity strengthens our communities. (1/6) 🧵

Can't believe there's an army of 'patriots' out there with cherry pickers and they're *NOT* cleaning road signs covered in years of grime instead of putting up pound shop flags 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Oh, you're getting a new petrol car. Have you got your oil well drilled yet?"

How it sounds when people express shock that I'm getting an EV and haven't got a fancy home charger installed yet.

Listening to my 9yo daughter playing on an ad-supported web app to practice times tables:
"3 x 4 equals... I DON'T WANT TO SEE PENNY LANCASTER, 54 IN A BIKINI... 5 x 7 equ... I DON'T CARE WHO RACHEL RILEY IS..."
