The NACC has over two hundred employees and an annual budget of over $60m, but has yet to land a single major finding from over 5,000 referrals.
The pressure is rising.
Does the NACC have any hope of regaining public trust?

Glou Wine Bar in Collingwood - the bar that donated all of the drinks VS used during our federal election campaign - had Nelson Alexander reach out to ask if they could have their Christmas party there. Their response is marvellous.

Google Maps has officially changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to "Gulf of America" after Trump's executive order. And a new Republican bill would let Trump rename Greenland "Red, White and Blueland." Still no word on lowering the cost of groceries, however.

The Woolies injunction hearing happens tomorrow at 9:30am. In the event that they are successful, it will likely include an injunction that bars @UnitedWorkersOz from calling for a community picket to assemble.

I don’t know how the raw data comes or whether or not I’m misunderstanding the category labels but classic that housing is reflected as either property income or mortgage repayments. Not having a dig at @grogsgamut.bsky.social btw but what about renters?
Nearly half of the drop in living standards since March 2022 has been due to the rise in mortgage repayments (which are net negative on living standards). They also have had a massive impact on small businesses (mixed income)
