🚨Fulminat el rècord absolut de temperatura a Malgrat de Mar!
🌡38,8 °C avui, dia de St Roc, a les 11:11 hores, a l'estació del Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya.
⛱️Afortunadament, la marinada no ha trigat a engegar i ha frenat aquest pic del calor desbocada.

On the day the @metoffice.gov.uk publish a new paper showing a rapidly increasing chance of 40°C days in the UK, the GFS produces a forecast ensemble member showing 43°C in a couple of weeks time. This is an extremely unlikely outcome but highlights that these types of temperature are now plausible.

In April 1938, Guy Callendar published the first evidence from thermometer observations that the world’s land areas were warming.

He also linked the observed warming to the increase in atmospheric CO₂ from burning coal.

The 2026 budget passback plan calls for eliminating NOAA Research, the scientific backbone that keeps weather forecasts, alerts, and warnings accurate and effective. This would have disastrous consequences.
