One of my nightmares from the late 80s and early 90s when I worked on very large uninterruptible power supply systems after midnight so as not to disturb daytime operations: making a mistake while working on the very large battery bank and shorting it out with subsequent disastrous results.

"The larger the datacenter, the larger the battery backup it needs, which we also only have recently started addressing in the code."

Second Pynchon adaptation by Paul Thomas Anderson. I enjoyed Inherent Vice, as messy as it was, looking forward to this one.

There's a weird film school adaptation of Gravity's Rainbow out there, can't remember who did it. Too big and bizarre to adapt, maybe even as a series.
