The waves of grief are not fun. One of my coping mechanisms is very dark humor, which makes me very nervous. But in shutting that down, I feel myself deflate.

So, I truly loved "Titanique." But it is inherently an off-Broadway show. "Titanique" going to the St. James in place of "Queen of Versailles" is further indication this Broadway season is quite bleak.

I'm glad holding a baby can help an Indiana Republican realize that this gerrymandering is not good, but he's a fucking idiot to need that specific trigger to convince him.

Days whose circumstances remind you this is all a big show with a mix of sincerity, absurdity, amd artifice bring value, if you remember when the illusion things are otherwise again becomes convincing.
