End result. It's not bad. Especially with sour cream and cheese. Stewed tomatoes is too big of tomato chunks. I keep being bamboozled by canned tomatoes. I thought they'd break up or something. Regardless, I will make a better chili. This is my quest. It is my destiny.

today (after I get back from the gym) I am going to christen my new crockpot by making the chili recipe ("netta's dynamite chili") that is literally printed on one of the box flaps. my guess is that it will be inoffensive. like lowest common denominator chili.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 lb ground beef - 80/20
1 15 ounce can light red kidney beans (lightly rinse to remove some of the starch)
1 15 ounce can dark red kidney beans (lightly rinse to remove some of the starch)
2 14 ounce cans of Italian stewed tomatoes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 cup yellow pepper, diced
1/2 cup red pepper, diced
2 tablespoon ground chili pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes salt and pepper, to taste
olive oil
Optional Garnish:
