doing my first "throw shit i got in the pantry into a crock pot" cook. we're looking at: lentils, corn, black beans, the rest of the ground beef (i cooked it first okay), mini peppers, and chicken broth with an assortment of spices. i WILL have perfect poops with this meal.

Ultimately I think Stranger Things would be a better show in general if they explained in detail every single aspect of every D&D thing they mentioned, like Yu-Gi-Oh.

Having gone through the AD&D book to find out what a 7 does on the original Prismatic Spray spell (save vs magic or be sent to another plane), I am now convinced that an earlier draft of this script had intended Dustin to send his bully into the Upside Down somehow, but they changed it later on.

I'm grateful for Josh for these posts because the Duffer Bros are supposed to be big d&d nerds and this is the big d&d series and they done gone and fucked it up.

i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

today (after I get back from the gym) I am going to christen my new crockpot by making the chili recipe ("netta's dynamite chili") that is literally printed on one of the box flaps. my guess is that it will be inoffensive. like lowest common denominator chili.

1/2 lb ground beef - 80/20
1 15 ounce can light red kidney beans (lightly rinse to remove some of the starch)
1 15 ounce can dark red kidney beans (lightly rinse to remove some of the starch)
2 14 ounce cans of Italian stewed tomatoes
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 cup yellow pepper, diced
1/2 cup red pepper, diced
2 tablespoon ground chili pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes salt and pepper, to taste
olive oil
Optional Garnish:
