Most of us did not choose to write or draw or design so that we could put products on the shelf. We chose to do it because it’s a set of skills we enjoy exercising, that give us fulfillment.

This is such a beautiful sentiment. Thank you for finding and sharing our story with your students. I don't think either of us could gave imagined this when we made it, and it's a joy to see it's found life beyond our imaginings.
Today in my undergrad comics class, we’re discussing Contact High (2017) by @josheckert.bsky.social & James Wright. I pair it with Janelle Monáe’s Dirty Computer film.
While the comic isn't explicitly about HIV/AIDS, I’ll use today to talk about touch, fear, & queerness. It’s all so new to them.
