This result doesn't look right. We're convolving the sum of two Gaussians (f₁ + f₂) by a Gaussian kernel (k), so we should get out a sum of two Gaussians (f₁ ∗ k + f₂ ∗ k). This is maybe the sum of three Gaussians? Too many inflection points to be the sum of two.

made a width-responsive pretty-printer with Prettier's "Doc" system. not sure I've seen this done before? it's nice!
also I made "type" keys show up as sexpr-style heads, and "id" keys show up as a little hashtags. adapting notation to your own practices for ergonomics and concision is dope!

IIUC, uv is a fast, sane replacement for the pip tooling, which is great!
if you want an analogous fast, sane replacement for the conda tooling (which includes a broader range of stuff beyond pure Python), you might consider pixi: prefix.dev.
