Honestly, anyone who badmouths one of these firefighters seriously needs to reexamine their own priorities in life and ask why building contractors have been lobbying against home fire sprinklers and safer zoning for decades.
Jessica: The fire chief has been called a DEI hire. I would take her resume any day, 24 year vet, paramedic, engineer, fire inspector, captain, battalion chief, fire marshal, deputy chief.

Beautiful weather this weekend up in Woodstock, VT. The local farmers have been hit hard by all of the flooding from rain this year (damaging crops and hay for their animals). If you have a chance, be sure to visit and support your local farms!

I regularly recommend this approach to researchers and will often go out of my way to find an author’s contact information for them for exactly this reason.
When you see a peer-reviewed scientific journal article, it often says “pay $35 to read this.”
