So hey, if you’re the parent of an autistic kid, this is a really great time to remind them that a) there is no link between vaccines & autism, b) non-autistic ppl get super weird about autism and c) they’re gonna hear & see some royal bullshit from official-sounding people & those people are wrong.

Question for you. My dad just had rsv and now is potentially exposed to fluA. He is on Tamiflu. He is in LTC. Am I being paranoid thinking the first thing I should do is surface clean his room entirely? I'm already the weird one for insisting his air purifier stay on

Well you've heard it runs in the family and all 3 of my kids are AuDHD 😀

My 1st question was did the study look at the changes and how autism is tested.
I'm not saying there won't be similarities in autism and babies after 2019 but autism and ADHD have alot of similarities and are still different

That's how I see it having owned a kitty before. You were never visiting me and if you didn't acknowledge her she never stops crying/talking therefore we aren't going to get any conversation done 😀

As @jljcolorado.bsky.social pointed out few years ago, hand washing shifts responsibility to the individual. Airborne transmission would mean the government and employers are responsible for protecting the people, by implementing large-scale air filtration units which isn't cheap in the short-term.

It's a real problem, because it's also extremely persistent on surfaces.

Anyway, this is just from a short search when looking for something else but it goes to show that the narratives that we have all now become familiar with were being created early on - in some cases, even before the pandemic had taken hold here.
Following the science? Hmmm.

Where did you buy this wonderful advent calendar? I would love to have this one for myself 😀

Oh I've tried hiking that when my baby was still in his carseat. We weren't very successful because my cousin insisted we use the seat, not the carrier. I knew it would be beautiful and now he can hike it himself

My friend attended a cont ed session for occupational therapists for long COVID, which included this info: “The anaerobic threshold for people with long covid is 40% lower than the typical population. So many people are going through their days in an anaerobic state which uses 40% more energy”

Hoky that's a big amount of oopsies. Will they offer product replacement or is it just throw out the products?

It's rather confusing. Are only healthy people at that place? Where is the sick entrance? 😀

Hi, just some rain, some voting and some good old fashioned leaf cleanup. Are you getting to do everything you hoped to see?
