I didn't even notice 🤣. There are two. One looks like just kids books and this one. So cool!

We had serious drought this summer too 😬. No chance of anything rotting from damp here 🙈. I'd switch with you to right things if you're supposed to have warmer weather! We're supposed to be quite chilly by now 🫠.

It is almost impossible to write a book a year while working as a family breadwinner and being a present parent. If this is your situation, you are not failing. The world wants you to think you are so you buy things. Just keep swimming.

Litla Ljón (the Lionhead rabbit) is 10 years old today 🥳

I've found two pictures of the spotted tussock moth caterpillar where it was white rather than the yellow in the other hundreds of pictures. Fancy colour variant? I can't find anyone talking about this though so maybe it's just fake 😅.

Grandma report: "They are watching some singing demon movie."

Mine always got eaten by cabbage worms 🙃. I gave up on them years ago but wow, that is beautiful!

Thank you! I do also love the modern Corvettes so this makes sense to me! I can basically only identify Corvettes, Camaros, and a couple other muscle cars 🤣. But only the modern ones 😅.

No wonder it was so sexy 🤣. Thank you!!

I feel like this car must be so recognisable to someone who knows about old cars 🤣 heelllpp. It was so nice

Car identification help! I saw a cool old car driving around and unfortunately I know literally nothing about cars 🫠. Did a lot of searching and this is the closest image I found, from a random Etsy print (www.etsy.com/ca/listing/8...). Anyone know what it might be?
A cool old car image from Etsy where the print does not identify what car it is. The car is green-blue and very sexy.

I keep thinking about buyers and how—over the space of a decade or two—I watched how the chain bookstore I worked at went from "let us tell find the right book for you" to "these books go here on these displays, exactly like this, no exceptions."

It… sucked.

I spent the summer reporting this essay on why it seems harder than ever to sell a book right now—especially if it isn't a debut and comes with the dreaded "sales track." I'm grateful to the writers, agents, editors, publishers & experts who spoke to me for this piece: thewalrus.ca/the-publishi...

The purpose of this KS was to post a game made for his kids, and maybe raise enough money to buy burgers and fries, as a fun cap to it all ($50 usd goal)

Well.

I've pointed out they probably need dessert options now ;)

19 hours to go for this solo game.
