As far as I know, even the Nazis didn't come up with the idea of sharing footage from concentration camp to fulfill the sadistic desires of their supporters. German High Command kept that for their own private viewing.

Honestly an incredible display of range from Bill Withers in making both the perfect sunny day song (Lovely Day) and the perfect cloudy day song (Ain’t no Sunshine). More like Bill Weathers, am I right?

My dream 30th bday is to fly all my remote friends here - that way both of my D&D groups can play at the same time in a mega session. Then, I will commission artwork of this event in the style of The Last Supper, since it may be the only time I’ll have 12 friends all in the same place at once

In his book, Werner Herzog tells a story from when he was 13. He saw a woman chasing a 25 y/o man & hitting him with a wooden tray for harassing her, then tells us this is Klaus Kinski, one of film history’s great villains. Perfect framing, my brain auto-imposed a record scratch freeze frame combo

I know “four favorites” is like their whole thing, but I seriously need letterboxd to let me have a fifth favorite film. Four just isn’t cutting it. Getting rid of any of Ikiru, Oppenheimer, 2001, Lawrence of Arabia, or I Saw the TV Glow feels like shooting my child

Certain versions on Spotify leaving out the intro of Ode to Joy with the cellos is one of the greatest offenses to music editing of all time, up there with the radio edition of Get Lucky leaving out that intro. In the proper rendition, that first ~4 minutes is nothing short of magic.
