Reporting live from "war ravaged Portland" where (checks notes) a collective of non-profits that help at-risk youth just turned an abandoned building into a community space and celebrated with free food, an open mic, and an excellent multi-cultural hip hop show.

Do yourself a favor and pick up Coffin Moon by @keithrosson.bsky.social. While you're at it, grab Fever House and The Devil By Name. Lean, vicious neo-noir horror at its best. Plus he's another Portland degen, you gotta support your Portland degens.

It’s cover reveal day for I Will Kill Your Imaginary Friend for $200! A book about nostalgia, grief, digital brainrot, the loneliness epidemic, and the boundless, breathless power of a child’s imagination, but mostly about beating puppets to death with your bare fists. linktr.ee/killyourimag...

It's very probable that the lift out of anhedonia was actually correlated with a neurochemical shift, but one time I was able to "feel" books again by binge reading a bunch of Ellroy and Burroughs.

I hope there's a lift for you soon.

Scarewaves: Beyond The Grave, the second book in the middle grade Scarewaves book series, is out today!

If you read it, I really hope you enjoy it! It’s slimy and full of monsters, the exact kind of thing I would have loved at that age.

Available at most major book retailers!
