Photograph of a lakeshore about one half hour before sunset. The sun is hidden by a still-green tree, but evident on the bright clouds at the mouth of the channel to Lake Michigan. The largest part of the picture is taken up by gorgeous shades of blue. The upper right-hand corner is a pure blue. The colors fade left and down toward the hidden sun, gradually fading into a yellow-white cloud. How did blue turn into yellow? No idea. But it's beautiful.

A small black dog, fur damp after a bath. His head is tipped to one side, and he is gazing into the camera with a look of betrayal and disappointment. He clearly did not need a bath, having just recently attained the absolutely precise amount of bodily funk he required. And yet, over his objections, he was placed into a bathtub full of warm water. And scrubbed! With baby shampoo and a silky soft washcloth! Even being wrapped in a fluffy towel and told what a good boy he was did nothing to ease the sting of his mistreatment. Oh, the indignity!

Our rescue brothers Sam and Max are here to increase the average cats per post numbers
Two cats. One is all orange, the other orange and white. Both with tabby markings. They are uncomfortably shoulder to shoulder, in a space too small for them. And each of them is too damn stubborn to move and give up the spot. The picture is of low quality. It shows a basement wall (wallpapered drywall!) with a small window just below the ceiling. There is a shelf above a clothes dryer*, and a vent pipe leading through a hole in the shelf upwards to one pane of the window. This is where a previous owner scribed a hole in the glass large enough to fit the pipe. There are metal fixtures th at almost but not quite attach everything securely. An electric breaker box is seen to the left. A coaxial cable for the television in the room above is draped across the breaker box, in what is surely a code violation. On the shelf is a milk crate, full of random laundry room items, with a bath towel seen draped over one side. And on top of that are the two cats mentioned above. It looks like an uncomfortable place to sit, albeit warm when the dryer is in use. In any event, it was worth fighting over and was for as long as we lived there a source of brotherly antagonism between the two of them. *This "shelf" is actually the top of a fully finished drywall enclosure (matching wallpaper!) the clothes dryer is installed in. That has just gotta be at least two more code violations - minimum! The previous homeowner committed so many DIY crimes. The deck! The sump pump!! Crimes!!!

OP posts an image of two deer, in front of a vine covered fence. The vines are leafless. I abuse the image thusly: Super zoomed in edit of the OP's lovely image. The vines on the fence in the background now appear as enormous tangles of horns sprouting from the larger deer's head in a Boschian nightmare of bone and doom. I am not a well person.
