Fun fact about the Salvation Army: they use a form of substance use treatment called work therapy. Oh, and by treatment, I mean they have people who have been convicted of drug charges work for their stores & warehouses in exchange for room, board, around a $1 a week, and minimal actual therapy.

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>The number of businesses that the UN has listed as operating in illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine has more than doubled, with the addition of 68 new firms.</p>
<p>The UN Human Rights Office <a href="https://www.ohchr.org/en/documents/thematic-reports/ahrc6019-database-all-business-enterprises-involved-activities-detailed" target="_blank">released an updated list</a> on Friday with a total of 158 companies, up from 97 in 2023 when the database was last released. </p>
<p>Most of the listed companies are based in Israel, but others are located in several European countries, China, Canada, the United Kingdom and the US.</p>
<p>New firms added include German-based Hedelberg Materials, Steconfer, a rail systems provider in Portugal, and Ineco, a Spanish transportation engineering company.</p>

<p>The footage came after the Tunisian authorities said the explosion originated inside the vessel.</p>
<p>“Acts of aggression aimed at intimidating and derailing our mission will not deter us. Our peaceful mission to break the siege on Gaza and stand in solidarity with its people continues with determination and resolve,” the group said in a separate post on Instagram.</p>
