One thing many people are not aware of is that Apple has an entire building full of engineers who are working to push the boundaries of physics in seeing how far an AirPods case can fling the individual earbuds in different directions whenever you drop the case.

we’ve had many waves of people checking in on the site and bouncing. it always feels a little sad to see folks i know bounce but i know how sticky the twitter network effects are.
“build it and they will come” is not enough, but still — we aim to make the app better for every next wave, bit by bit

A change that I really hated from the formerly site known as Twitter that I’m glad Bluesky didn’t copy: making every profile inaccessible if you don’t log in by default.
If the poster doesn’t make their profile explicitly private, why bother having to make the user log in to read their posts?

Finance applications are making me regret (a little, or maybe a lot) changing phones.
How do people that change phones often deal with this? Feels like is not worth it until your phone is in the border of collapse.
