I lobbied the government for two years before I discovered you can get paid to do it. You might remember that House bill to get Michel Foucault removed from queer theory. Yeah, that was me. It didn't pass. Like me.

Lawn Dart Sample [NUMBER REDACTED] has completed its six-year mission at the Smithsonian Museum of American History.

These recalled darts are a sample that we maintain at CPSC and were loaned to the Smithsonian Spark!Lab as part of an educational program.

I had lived in Alabama for about two months when someone used not one, but two slurs to promise me they were going to repay me some money they borrowed. I still think about that sometimes nearly fifteen years later.

This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

There is no way I will be voting for him a 6th time.

So speaking of Yesterdayland, Tomorrowland (the music festival) is currently burning down.
Kraftwerk turns 55 this year. We could literally have an EDM radio station that follows the classic rock format of the 90s. We'll call it Yesterdayland.

The way to win trans rights back in Alabama is to start a trans-owned THC product delivery service called "your tokin trans friend"

We don’t know what to do with this information, but we thought we should tell you.

Setup a virtual mailbox and an out-of-office email reply directing people to mail the virtual mailbox.
Configure the virtual mailbox so letters get scanned and emailed to you.

People can still technically email you if they need to, but they have to mail a letter and pay postage to do it.
Looking for models of sabbatical-focused out-of-office email autoreplies that strike the right balance between "leave me alone" and "fuck you."

On a related note, I am now on sabbatical.

Is there actually a law against owning a little tiny tank? I feel like if the armored vehicle didn't exceed level III plate and the cannon was just a 37mm grenade launcher, the entire vehicle might technically be classified as a flare gun and could be shipped to your front door.

Excuse me, I was never on Twitter. I was a Discord shitposter who wanted to expand their audience beyond my polycule and some random trans people.

Bluesky probably wasn't the right move.
I gotta say, bluesky mainly attracting weird twitter shitposter refugees and 45 year old vote blue business consultants has to be one of the most unintentionally funny and defining dynamics of the site.

I'm starting to get suspicious that CPSC celebrates the 4th of July by blowing up mannequins.

CPSC: don't wear bombs as hats

*blows up crash dummy*

CPSC: we had to put work gloves on the mannequin so the hands didn't melt 🫠
Do not launch fireworks off your body this #July4th

One of the lobbyists on this issue, the IWF, has previously lobbied against the expansion of Title IX to fund women's sports and has advocated for traditional gender roles.

Their position is one of convenience, and they will throw both women's sports and women under the bus as soon as they can.
Cruelty to trans athletes does not in any way protect women's sports.

If you want to protect women's sports, protect Title IX and reject the GOP and everything it stands for.

Look at this and take a hint, Rep. Butler. It's ironic that he represents a place called Rainbow City.

If we can turn out like 5 people to march from the Rainbow City industrial park rainbow statue to the FedEx shipping center, that's proportionally equivalent to Budapest.
Hungary banned anything that “promotes homosexuality,” which means Pride.

However, today over 500,000 people in Budapest told the government to fuck off. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
