These are some of my favourite pieces that I still have in stock. The wall hangers on the first photo were particularly fun to make, they were born from random doodles on a page!

The silly season is upon us! If you like gifting things and would like to support local and handmade, I have a couple of events in Wellington city before Christmas:
The first one is a pop up makers market at Double Tree by Hilton. I'll have a selection of pieces there on the 13th, 14th, 20th & 21st

Saw some Jomon pottery at Kyoto Museum today. All of these things are about 4,000 years old, if not more! So cool!

Dear New Zealanders, are soft-boiled dippy eggs with soldiers a thing here? I'm thinking it could be fun to make egg holders, but not sure if it's worth it if no one eats eggs like this. Picture to illustrate what I mean

For anyone who enjoys my work, I send Creative Updates once a month, where I talk about things I'm working on, events I'm attending, and special topics that relate to important parts of my business. If that sounds interesting, here's the link

I know that tiny hairline crack is going to turn much bigger in the firing, so it's getting recycled while I can still save the clay!
Thankfully this is the only one from the batch thay developed a crack while drying

Hey #BOTY #Kikorangi, just a reminder from Peppy that I have a LOT of native bird enamel pins and sticker designs...while I may not have EVERY bird, I do give a portion of profits to Trees That Count every month.

Snag some goodies, support a local artist, and celebrate birds! pepperraccoon.com

I'm experimenting with making clay stamps to texture my clay. It's not particularly easy, but I'm keen to explore this more as I love using textures in my work!

I handed over my final assignments for the Tikanga course I was doing with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa! I have learnt so many cool things, and I am now looking forward to a bit of a break!
I'm hoping to chanel that extra time into more creative things 😊
