Yeahhh nah the screenshotted person is correct. The metaphor is extreme but I think it is really indicative of how a lot of former magic players feel. The IP stuff is objectively slop. Stuff pushed out to the lowest common denominator with the goal of bringing in people who wouldn't otherwise join

Kinda just speaking into the void but I'm so enamored at how much people cope into still playing magic these days. I quit, many pros quit. Stop letting yourself be manipulated. If you purchase secret lairs or play magic at a comp level you're complicit and have no grounds to complain.

Magic is such a joke now lol I'm so glad I don't partake anymore. I'll come out and say it, if you're continuing to purchase magic product like secret lairs or UB or sealed product, whatever you're complicit and have zero grounds to whine when magic continues to be bad. You're digging the grave
