And the CPS described as ‘centre-right’?
Regular reminder that the so-called CPS "policy expert' quoted here was the author of the "£234 billion cost" number quotes by Reform and Jenrick, and CPS which had to withdraw when they finally admitted it was based on two simple and obvious arithmetic errors.

Hear hear
It’s really simple…

- Cap all political donations
- Ban foreign donations
- Strict conflict‑of‑interest & anti‑corruption laws with penalties
- No titles, honours or peerages for donors
- No govt contracts for donors
- Publish every donation/lobby meeting

…that’ll do it.

I hope somebody will complain to IPSO about this (and the similar Express splash). If so this will be a very useful reference.
Lies, damned lies and the Telegraph. They posted CSJ figures using an outrageously false comparison of 2 cases. It claimed a benefits family were better off by £18k than a working household when the real figure was £16k worse off. The details benefitsinthefuture.com #benefits #budget

Serious question: would it be a terrible loss to print media to let the Telegraph close? Rather than have Rothermere expand his empire. Or overseas ownership?
