Been messing around with the new brushes that came in the Procreate update, turned out perfect for something Batman related.
(Brushes used were Bronzewing and Vinyl)
Not to brag, but it’s an illustration of Batman from a low angle. We’re looking up at him standing in the middle of a city block in Crime Alley, a sporty Batmobile shines its lights at him from further in the scene. He has a batarang in one hand, the other raised against the light. The buildings around him are illuminated by the car’s headlights and the high rises of downtown loom far in the distance.

I've been a creative pro for 10 years, this is the number 1 question I get.

They want creative work to be recognizably theirs in an instant-- like Miyazaki or Wes Anderson movies.

This is the formula for art style, it's much simpler than you think.

Sometimes when I’m bummed out I’ll watch that video of Kristen Chenoweth at the Bowl singing For Good with a stranger and it’s always like, wow seeing someone else’s happy moment really reignited my faith in humanity, I guess

Some more of my own Star Trek logos. The first would make a good comic logo too I reckon. The last one is my favourite and would have made a great Phase II or Lost Era logo, IMO. Others are just a bit of fun. Well, they all are really…
I don't know what to say about #1. It came out really well! I call #2 the 'Star Trek: 1999' one, though it doesn't really look too much like the Space: 1999 logo really. Looking at it now, it could use some fixing up. #3 was inspired by the Ms. Marvel logo of all things, but would work well for an even more retro-era Star Trek. #4 Japanese logo, by me. I've been assured that it looks fine by some Japanese people, but I can't tell for sure. #5 Inspired by the Star Wars poster lettering. Yeah, I've done a few Star Wars/Trek logos. #6 Based on the Avant Garde Gothic typeface, famous for its ligatures. It may not be the most legible of logos, but I think Star Trek is well know enough that it could legitimately be a good series logo, even today.
