Birth rates are only important in a system that demands constant growth, global competition and the reinforcement of family units as a tool of social organizing/control.

There's a lesson here for those of us who *oppose* ICE, too: our "silly" occupations matter too. They help us reset and recharge, get some better brain chemicals going, remind us of what we're fighting for because otherwise there's no point. The soul cannot live on rage alone.
