Do you remember a few weeks ago when I posted about saving 1000 tree frog eggs and creating a pond with my wife so we could raise the tadpoles? Well, may I present to you Soujourner, the first frog to leave the pond and take residence on the grasses nearby. Oh, my. Oh, my heart. #nature

Leaving the European Convention on Human Rights would be an act of self-sabotage, not independence, because the convention was forged from British ideals of justice and human dignity, written by our own lawyers in the ruins of war, to ensure that tyranny could never again take hold in Europe.

Tories and Reform want to quit the European Convention on Human Rights.

Since 1980, the ECHR court has heard 29 cases of immigrant deportation. UK won 16. No defeats in the last 5 yrs.

Quitting ECHR won't fix illegal immigration, will destroy our freedoms and rights.

Is that what causes it? We buy them regularly (UK) - and they used to be huge! these days - carrot sized! Still yummy though 😊

I am convinced they will have had no reason to change it. They show every sign of wanting everything to be authentic - and your dad ticked all those boxes!

How lovely! I'm sure they will have kept it!! 😊

Like all the greats, Brian Patten wrote simply and personally - and in that, communicated the profound nature of what it is to be.

BEST 80s #94 “I Got You” by Split Enz
“I don’t know why sometimes I get frightened.” “I Got You” is a neurotic, spiraling, and relentless ride, a power-pop blend of Squeeze and Cars. The song, written and artfully performed by Neil Finn, quickly became the top-selling record ever in Australia.
