I just re-watched Cabaret (1972). My mom was a tap dancer so I knew the music/dance numbers long before I understood the story. It’s not really about singing and dancing; it’s about people going on about life while evil takes hold around them. I return to it from time to time and always find it new

Uniforms, symbols, labels, and colors could make a lasting impression and go viral.

Protests are amping up in major cities & #NoKings2 is on 10/18. Trump administration wants to use violence to provoke violence. What if we resist that and print "NonViolent Protester" on the back of our shirts. It would be a great visual in the media

Wrong. All you had to do was read project 2025 or listen to those of uswho had. Destroying science, education & media, seizing authoritarian control over the presidency, destroying the administrative state, & the brutal fight against immigrants was all there. They're just getting to women's rights

I'm watching coverage of the gov shutdown. Absent is the recent Supreme Court action allowing the president to rescind budgeted funds. They destroyed the negotiation necessary for this process. How can there be compromise when one side has established that they won't abide by agreements they make?
