“Looking back at what happened in Germany, my good friend Judge Lasnik said, ‘Where were the judges? Where were the lawyers?’”

“We need a call to action in this country from our lawyers and our judges to say ‘not in our country, not on our watch,’” he said.

The brutal treatment of Sen. Padilla reveals these thugs for who they are. They are making America a police state. This is not a time for leading Dems to send tepid messages of condemnation. It is a time for them to show up and stand up. Go to every Trump event.Speak out. Dare them to drag you away.

Here's my set of takes on Biden and his age and ability to do the job.

1) The decision to seek reelection was very obviously the wrong one, and indeed I'd say catastrophically so. *At the time* it may have been defensible but with the benefit of hindsight, it was a terrible mistake.

Day 127—

Still no board for the House Ethics office. So no new investigations.

Why? Speaker Johnson hasn't appointed members.

Dems submitted their picks. Two Republicans are willing to serve.

But Johnson hasn't acted.

John Oliver is funny but he’s also absolutely right — @TerryMoran shouldn’t have moved on from Trump’s lie about the photoshopped MS-13 tattoos, he should’ve pressed Trump on it further and made him wear it even harder.

He is seriously mentally diminished. In a literal, psychological sense, and not just because he's a narcissistic fucking asshole.

He LITERALLY thinks the ms13 on this photo is tattooed on his knuckles. He says "Literally".

Holy fuck.

Know a student in Oklahoma who will soon be taught about 2020 election “discrepancies”? I compiled a debunking in advance.
They may not get an A using this, but at least they’ll get an actual education.

I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.

Analogies are never perfect, but this one is instructive. If you’ll indulge me:

What would you call it if a German government ordered books from Jewish authors removed for being “subversive” and “anti-German” while having no problem with white supremacist literature?

Because that’s what this is.
Adolf Hitler's “Mein Kampf” is still on U.S. Naval Academy shelves. “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” and “Memorializing the Holocaust” are not.

An order by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office led to a purge of books that are critical of racism — but preserved volumes defending white power.
