It takes a really unusual psychological profile to be able to handle that kind of constant hostility being aimed at you, much less redirect it constructively and in a way that won't make it worse, and it also takes SO MUCH TIME.

I found local rescue communities for animals especially pidgeons, now I am half a foot in pidgeon rescue myself (spotter, finder, transport). And got to know a habdful of peopke in my neighbourhood through there.
