Just an update on my manga & light novel collection! I've been collecting more Battle Angel Alita, a few yuri series here and there, and got the Spice & Wolf omnibus novel now.

What is with straight romance manga putting the most yuri / lesbian coded covers? The protagonist is a boy, so why isn't he on the covers? Why are so many manga like this?

I get why they show the female love interests, but are their protags *THAT* boring, they aren't deemed worthy of being shown?

In Donkey Kong Bananza, you may have noticed Donkey Kong looking more orange than usual sometimes. This is due to his fur becoming slightly brighter when he is full on Bananergy. In practice, the game's dynamic lighting makes this very difficult to tell unless comparing in identical conditions.

I am sadden to report that James Carter Cathcart (aka Jimmy Zoppi) has passed away at the age of 71 following a battle with throat cancer. Affiliated with 4Kids, he is best remembered for his voice roles with the Pokemon franchise including James, Meowth, and Gary Oak.

Dragon Rising in a nutshell: villain unseals two villains who unseal 3 more villains, who then work together to unseal another villain, meanwhile the original villain still has a villainous master yet to be revealed.

Ninjago's plot is actually getting a bit convoluted and tedious at this point.💀

Panel 2: The customer is patiently waiting at the table for his food. Panel 3: Shen himself is brought out on a catering plate by the chef, who is a woman. He's not cooked or anything, he's just sitting on it. Panel 4: Shen is blushing, says "she said I'M her special." Panel 5: The customer looks on, happy for them, as Shen and the chef passionately make out in front of the table for presumably 20+ minutes.
