Walz deciding not to run has nothing to do with threats or his son. That makes no sense. If this were true, he'd resign entirely. Because obviously these threats and dangers will continue for a full year. So "threats" doesn't make sense as a reason.

I believe Canada should look at developing its own nuclear weapons to have an absolute deterrent to future American aggression. We must take control of our own future. Unstable America is not going away. This is probably a fifty year trend of instability we will be dealing with.

When SCOTUS repeals birthright citizenship/blows a hole in it (they will) the dems are going to need a much bigger response than letters, social media posts, and whining. Removing rights enshrined in the constitution needs to use very drastic measures. If there are excuses then they are useless

Just to note that Sovereign Immunity gives immunity to state, federal, and tribal governments from many lawsuits, including tort like defamation. Tylenol has no avenue to sue Texas back because it legally is not allowed under existing law. It can only defend. Cannot sue Paxton personally, either.

Your problem here is people expect WAY more of the NG so their violations are going to get more air time. They are meant to be our neighbors and statesmen. Them being used against their state basically feels like treason to people in the state.
To put it more bluntly: Everything people were afraid the National Guard would do is what ICE and other federal agencies are doing right now
I do think national media need to be focusing more on what ICE is doing, especially in Chicago, where people are being dragged from their beds. I'm not downplaying the National Guard deployments, but ICE is actively terrorizing communities. That's the spear tip of fascism right now.

All the regime had to do was not go on FOX acting like bad asses and taking credit for censorship. A large part of the response was entirely due to this being brazen government censorship that the government gleefully admitted to and then threatened to do more.

Having the CA Legislature and Governor punish Disney would be more effective. Florida did this. CA has tremendous power to enact new regulations on Disney, overly examine their parks, and take away advantages.

Desantis Punished Disney successfully for going against his agenda. There is no reason CA cannot make life difficult for Disney with extra regulations, removal of benefits, investigations into corruption (real big in their city of choice.)

CA should threaten to investigate Disney and examine it. Disney has studios, major theme parks, and virtually owns a Californian city. Florida went after Disney quite successfully just for upsetting DeSantis. I doubt they want the CA government to mess with them. If worried about law use legislature

Very few people seem to be aware the FCC doesn't have control over the content of cable and streaming. They can't "go after" FOX news because it doesn't have a license by which to go after. The best that can be done is to demand concession of it for some unrelated government benefit like merger.
