Brent was one of the founders of the Little Rock Film Festival where so many Arkansas filmmakers were able to get their start and interact with amazing filmmakers from around the globe. He did incredible work filled with empathy. You should check this out if you can.

I saw this in August. It is very good and very heartbreaking. Brent was a friend, and he and his brother Craig were unofficial mentors to so many of us Little Rock, Arkansas filmmakers. I had the pleasure of working with both on the Little Rock Film Festival for 10 years… youtu.be/bceerB407LY?...

It was there that I met my wife very early on in the festival and they both opened, not only my eyes, but so many peoples’ to what the possibilities were and are when it comes to filmmaking, working with others, and building community. Tomorrow would have been his 54th birthday.

Wow! I don't recall ever seeing an extended edge-on disk galaxy lensing a background galaxy like this before. Surreal (almost literally; Dali would love these). They kinda look like ships from Star Trek, too.
