I wanted to come up with something actually meaningful to give up for Lent this year. I had such a visceral reaction to the first thing that came to mind that I literally said out loud, "I hate it." And that's when I knew what I was going to give up for Lent.

I can't wait till my MAGA relatives realize that everything they hate about recent changes to college football is just capitalism. They're detailing all of the issues with the system, and I'm like, "You're literally describing a free market and suggesting regulation."
