You don’t have to like the movie or anything. But they fucking deserves better respect than what they’ve received.

I hate when a new animated movie from a major studio comes out and it underwhelms either critically or at the box-office and I suddenly see a million YouTube thumbnails with titles like "Pixar Crashes and Burns!" and "What Happened to DreamWorks?!?", often with big red letters.

The fact that people are already labeling Hopper as another “bean mouth Pixar movie” when it’s art style is a complete stark contrast to their previous films just only proves how shallow the criticism really gets.

People need to stop making a competition out of animated films and let them coexist with one another. No one in the industry is rivaling and they're equally celebrating their colleagues work at other studios without trashing them. Films can coexist with one another. Simple.
