Catching up on January daily doodles still in my #travelersnotebook I wonder what happened that week 🤬

Still more January daily doodles in my #travelersnotebook. This also makes me realize how hard good alt text is. I’m pretty sure “lil blob guy” is not helpful. Anyone have tips for describing kind of derpy things?
Daily drawings illustrated with watercolors in a small weekly planner. Monday - small circle with arms and big eyes carrying an umbrella in the rain. Tuesday - tiny moon with a house on it in space. Wednesday - trees at night. Thursday - stretched out simplified face, text reads “so tired” Friday - a black blob guy waving. Shaped kind of like a bean. Probably friendly. Friday - text reads “cocktail party” one hand holds a rocks glass with cherries on a skewer and brown liquid. Another hand holds a glass of yellow liquid that’s supposed to be a French 75. Sunday - circular blob character with big eyes and an anxious face has a scribbly thought bubble over its head.

Small weekly planner for January 6-12 containing doodles painted with watercolor. Monday - furry purple monster holding a small flame. Tuesday - skull and mushrooms. Text reads “if I am good am I allowed to forget?” Wednesday - small bear with speech bubble saying “well shit…” Thursday - small anxious blob character panicking. Text reads “I forgot to person” Friday - cocktail in a rocks glass with cherries, cocktail shaker and tools. Saturday - a hobbit house! Sunday - five black blobs with white eyes spread across a white background.

If a book has preprinted dates, my brain gets mad if I don’t keep up. Last year was a daily journal in a #hobonichi which I’m still doing. Harnessing this quirk in 2025 to do a little doodle a day in a passport sized #travelersnotebook.
Small weekly planner filled with watercolor drawings. Monday - doodle of A Picture of Dorian Grey and coffee. Tuesday and Wednesday - pink and purple shooting stars with clouds, with text “I am gonna make it through this year if it kills me” from the Mountain Goats. Thursday - doodle of girl working on a laptop, text reads “capitalism wasn’t cancelled (dammit).” Friday - skeleton resting on a green hill with foliage. Text reads rotting into compost. Sat - girl napping at a desk with a black thought bubble filled with stars. Sunday - two phones connected by wire with hearts passing between them.

4 years post grad I’ve accepted that I need ✨information chaos✨ to do anything. All of these are in some stage of in progress. Not pictured are 3 other notebooks and ??? number of other books also in progress. I’ve reverted to dissertation brain and I like it?
