Agree with every word of this

We've gone from 9% of social care staff coming from outside the UK and EEA in 2021/22 to almost 25% in 2024/25

The govt has no near-term replacement

It means either:
1) staffing shortages or
2) councils spending far more to attract staff, with no extra funding

So many existing oil + gas licenses, pipelines, wells are sited in Marine 'Protected' Areas, as shown on our Watershed Pollution Map. The pollution risks + risks to wildlife if existing licences are expanded are likely to be huge:

In addition to the questionable wisdom of spraying PFAS on food crops, organisations like @paneurope.bsky.social highlight, many PFAS pesticides break down into TFA, a forever chemical German authorities class as reprotoxic - harmful to fertility + child development - which can get into groundwater.

One more example while delaying decarbonisation is more expensive than to transition away from fossil fuels. Unfortunately, these costs and their sensitivity to the timeline (the longer we take the more expensive it will be) is ignored by those claiming fast transition is too hard for "the economy"
