Trump and his MAGA minions don't worry about looming electoral consequences of their ICE storm of terror. They plan to 1. declare an emergency and cancel the mid-terms, or 2. manipulate the electoral process into a meaningless morass.

Trump keeps bleating about the U.S. being "the hottest country," as though our national reputation were a sneakers brand. In fact, under the Trump/MAGA Age of Moral Squalor, we stink. Squalor stinks.

The ruthless coyotes of Tren de Aragua and MS-13 are in fact caballeros operating a ringworm ring. They drive diseased herds over the border in the dead of night. Each critter bears bushels of fentanyl before they fade into our neighborhoods, where they vote illegally. Some have even transitioned!

This trooper played special teams in high school.
🔥🏈LAWYER on the ugly incident during the Texas A&M game: “As a 3rd generation A&M grad that trooper should be fired, not just pulled off duty. He is a huge asshole. I would love to see those South Carolina players file assault charges.”

His settlement of the Peloponnesian War is my favorite Trump feat.
10 wars???
REPORTER: Have you spoke to Vladimir Putin about the fact that a big US factory was hit in an airstrike in Ukraine?

TRUMP: I'm not happy about anything having to do with that war. I settled 7 wars, and actually if you think about pre-wars, add 3 more so it would be 10.

Today I was once again by struck by how well other leaders speak, even though most of them are not speaking their native tongue. They utter complete sentences that congeal into coherent themes -- decidedly unlike the bloviations of our rambling, slurring, self-aggrandizing, tone-deaf Orange Buffoon.

She runs a large anti-ICE TikTok account—now agents caught on livestream targeting her in violent arrest.

Agents drag her out of Tesla & throw her on ground where she lay unresponsive—then rushed by ambulance to hospital.

She is well-known to ICE as community activist who films raids Los Angeles.

Predictably, the ill-advised summit provided Trump with three things he values:
1. The chance to hang out with his all-time hero and handler, the murderous serpent Putin.
2. A photo op.
3. Attention. TV crews hanging on his words. But what he said has zero meaning, beyond their deceit and shame.

This computes.
Speaking personally, quite possibly the least qualified ambassador in U.S. history, and given how unqualified many ambassadors have been, that's really saying something.

MAGA doesn't disguise who's favored and who's not. Will voters notice? Or, if they do, care?

It is true that sometimes New York City is frightening. For example today these men were loitering in the hallway of the 12th floor of the federal building.

Trump posts an image of himself as pope. He orders that Alcatraz be reopened as a prison. These are gags, but the internet goes wild. Meanwhile, Trump is converting federal agencies that once served the nation into weapons that he wields to attack the public and the nation.

The White House has launched its own version of The Drudge Report. It's pure Pollyanna propaganda, on the taxpayers' tab. (The real Drudge Report is no fan of Trump.)

To quote the Talking Heads: The rules do not apply!

Informative thread.
Over on The Hellsite, JD Vance has now functionally called for an end to due process for migrants. His argument is riddled with deceptions, bad faith, and embarrassingly awful logic. I think it needs a real response, so here's what I put up over there.

First, his 20 million number is fiction. 1/
