In the decade-plus I've been making my weekly videos, Rebecca was the only developer to have jumped into my comments to clear up a point I was unclear about—then she graciously agreed to be on the podcast. I found her to be as generous and kind as she was talented. It's truly tragic that she's gone.

anyways on top of the long form stuff I’ve been working on, I am continuing the energy drink reviews (they’re fun and I’ve gotten positive feedback!) and am playing around with shortform music collection pickup vids. Shot three of those this weekend.

as an update: the Pure/Fuel/Nail’d video was put on hold to do something else smaller that I was interested in. That’s almost finished (editing and some b-roll to go)
want to go back and finish Pure/Fuel/Nail’d next. its just gonna entail some (re)writing I’ve been dreading. learning experience

any cheap lav mic solutions to recommend? I got some bluetooth ones that connect to my phone via lightning and they sound worse than the in-camera mic.
