Some 20% of our population lives in informal settlements. The average income is low, many live in rentals and the smallest solar setups can run $5000 USD which is largely out of reach of most.

It isn't. We have significant economic class divides in this country. These things have significant impacts in terms of access to things like solar and the quality of housing.

It unfortunately remains a minority of Jamaicans who are able to afford these things.

Slower investment would have forced them to actually address efficiency and make something better. Instead we end up in this three card cycle of investment.

Face replacement alone is a fairly complex pipeline that still requires the best and the brightest in VFX to get right.

You can just look at this reel to see the model break. It couldn't sustain processing a whole film. Much less with the turnaround time the thread implies
