Reverse engineering your way into space exploration would be a very impressive feat even or especially the Klingon method is "just keep throwing people at the problem to die until one of them figures out how to not die"

Is there an ep that goes into this? Were they always superstitious and warlike or did they become that way later on? Well honestly I'm not sure how superstitious they really are. They do seem like they have a decent wealth of medical/scientific knowledge it just doesn't really mesh with their vibes?

Oh god. your honor there's levels to this shit (tl;dr four 20~30hr periods of day/night, one night is because the planet Threshold blocks the sun and the other is because the part of the ring you're standing on is tilted away from the sun) if you're fishing for the Wiseguys on Mars joke it's ~100/24

Oh god. your honor there's levels to this shit (tl;dr four 20~30hr periods of day/night, one night is because the planet Threshold blocks the sun and the other is because the part of the ring you're standing on is tilted away from the sun) if you're fishing for the Wiseguys on Mars joke it's ~100/24
I guess it does rotate since sometimes it's night. But since the observer is inside of the torus that means there would be two "days" for every rotation since sunlight gets inside whether it is facing "towards" or "away" from the sun (times when it is not perpendicular to its star)

does it even rotate? There's kind of problems with trying to apply day/night cycles and thus subdivide them whether it does or doesn't either way I think

I can't even use the free-souls chalice dungeons to fix my build because I... am absolutely playing on a PS4, and a completely normal one at that, but the internet simply doesn't work for no discernible reason.
