We should move Christmas to like, February or even March. December is way too early. Winter barely even started. It feels like we blow all the holiday cheer before any of the polar vortexes and blizzards really even start and then you have nothing to look forward to except winter being over

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.

Every time I see the Red Dead 2 mini-scene starting up where where you see a stranger trying to help his horse with a nail stuck in its hoof which causes it to kick him in the head and kill him, I always just shoot the horse.

I love the marketing trick of showing people really bad gameplay so that they go "ugh, this guy sucks! I could play way better!!!" if I ever need to sell a video game I'm going to farm the absolute worst clips of all time.

I love how uploading images on the Bluesky android app fails almost constantly and it only tells you that it failed right when you go to press "post" and not before you type up all the fucking alt text
