Our boiler broke at the weekend, and our house was FREEZING. But a very nice man called Barry from British Gas came around and fixed it.

Anyway today I got a text asking for feedback on Barry, and possibly I shouldn’t reply to these things while still loopy on painkillers from root-canal.

To help us improve our service please let us know the reason for your scores by texting us some comments” And my response is: “Barry was friendly, clear, informative and efficient.” “And he made our boiler work again, restoring heat and personal hygiene to our ancestral home. No longer does the winter chill gnaw at us. No longer do our taps disgorge ice-water. Winter is again banished to the ‘outside’ where the bad things dwell.” “We love Barry.”
